Drums made of polycarbonate and LDPE
Large 19-litre water drums of polycarbonate used for mineral water coolers, and similar containers made of polycarbonate or LDPE, are impractical to transport and dispose of due to their size and the enormous amount of empty space they require.
RUNI has developed one of the only solutions for compacting these large containers. When polycarbonate is compacted, it becomes cost-effective to transport because the transportation space is used optimally and therefore the compacted drums can be sold as recyclable material.
Emptying and destruction
The machine can be equipped with drainage so that full bottles are also emptied of their contents and destroyed during the process (find out more here).
